Thinking Fellers Union Local 282 released Lovelyville, their third album and first for Matador in 1991. The band of San Francisco-based Iowa transplants proudly eschewed traditional song structure with what their loyal fanbase has dubbed “Feller-filler.” As shown in Lovelyville-track “More Glee,” beginnings, middles, and ends are overrated.
